I have been solely a professional musician since the early 1980’s, working in every nook and cranny of music. I’ve led rock bands, coached cabaret vocalists, conducted orchestras, composed, directed and musical directed musical theatre shows, and toured the world with cabaret chanteuse Andrea Marcovicci. For the last 25 years my work has primarily been focused as the Music Director at the Community Church of Chapel Hill, Unitarian Universalist (a position I held for 23 years before leaving at the end of May, 2026) and as accompanist and musical director at Duke University.
