"The SpongeBob Musical"
This November 22-24 (Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm, Sunday at 5pm) the Community Church will be producing our biennial musical, under the direction of Glenn Mehrbach. The show chosen is "The SpongeBob Musical." This is a multi-generational musical with a large cast and crew, and parts for singers, dancers and non-singers alike.

GENERAL SCHEDULE
• SUNDAY, AUGUST 18: First read-through of script and score with all available cast members in the Sanctuary.
• WEEK OF AUGUST 19: Rehearsals begin, based on everyone’s schedules, and continue through November 16.
• SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17: After church services, the set, costume and prop crews will do the “Load In,” and transform the Sanctuary into a theatre, and the sub-marine habitat known as “Bikini Bottom.”
• WEEK OF NOVEMBER 18-24: Tech Week begins, with rehearsals every evening, as follows:
-Monday: Sitz Probe (running through all the music with the band)
-Tuesday: Costume Parade (stumble through of the show with costumes)
-Wednesday: Tech Dress (stumble through the show with all technical elements, like lights, sound effects, microphones, etc.)
-Thursday: Final Dress (this is where we run this show as close as possible to an actual performance)
-Friday: Opening Night
-Saturday: Second Night
-Sunday: Closing Matinee
